Of course the next question is 'How many doses have been distributed?'

The CDC says that 12,279,180 does have been distributed.

55 / 12,279,180 = 0.00045% of the people administered doses in the US have died. And most of the doses have been given to doctors, nurses, health professionals & very elderly.

In catastrophic events (shootings, war, acts of nature), for every death, there are 2-3 times that many that are seriously injured. Meaning that what will kill one person would probably only injure 2 or 3 other people.

EDIT: The real question is that of fertility.

I'm sure you remember the big swine flu scare. I was working in San Diego at the time and clearly remember seeing Latinos of all ages lined up down the block waiting to get their shots. At work they had a table to sign up for free shots and you just filled out a slip of paper and waited in line to go into the medical office to get an injection. Thankfully it was voluntary.

That's what guinea pigs are for....trendy trendsters eager to be the first on their block for bragging rights, or scared little sheeple desperate to be first in line are no different. The term cannon fodder comes to mind. Unfortunately them dying don't seem to include the politicians or celebs crowing about getting the vaccine, which is quite disappointing!
