Man. We think alike. I found a full set of encyclopedias from 1962, I love looking at them. I save seeds. This garden will be my 3rd generation. This is the spring I get 2 goats, I want the milk. I too have a couple of Japanese pull saws. I thought I would become an expert at hand sewn dove tails. I am not. I have a few cheap carpentry saws. You’re making me think, I need another framing hammer and a stash of nails. I have put years of research and acquiring my preps. I’m ready for the system to collapse, I want to test my plans. I have no TV or internet(other than my phone). I listen to shortwave and AM everyday. Also use a SSB CB radio. Sounds like your pretty far south of me.

PS. My book collection is way more that just the set of encyclopedias. Traditional ways of living, etc.

I still need encylopedia set.

I'm just getting started with seeds. My climate is so peculiar that no one really knows what will grow. We are all just experimenting and fighting grass. My onions are doing surprisingly well but they may not seed till next year.

Keep sawing, brah. You'll start sawing straight eventually. Took me like 2 years, lol.

I got phone Internets, no TV. Maybe I get radio someday.

I am way far south of you probably 19°N.

Yea I’m. 36’ 30” N. Perfect for growing lots of things.

I'm up in the mountains. Folks below 800ft windward have typical tropical weather and landscapes. Higher than that things get weird.

My winter is like early autumn in your latitude with a wet and dry season. I can grow thinks like broccoli which folks lower down can't.
