Overheard a coworker and a customer talking about covid yesterday. The customer works for a delivery company and he said that he's been instructed to write down the names of anyone who comes to the door without a mask. In the case anyone got sick, the company could trace it back to whoever the driver was in contact with.

No see, if he wears a mask but you dont the chance of catching COVID is 75%. But if you both wear a mask, it goes down to 5% or so. This is according to a CDC graph i saw. How you might ask? Complete and utter bullshit numbers made up on the fly. The graph doesnt even make sense as numbers go. Like the super COVID strand which was caught by two people one in England and one in Colorado, who had never seen each other, or travelled in the same place, complete fucking bullshit

It is complete fucking bullshit because the infection rates between mask wearers and non-mask wearers is the same,

Danmask study.

I think what confused me is that what is the mask even for? By their OWN FUCKING ADMISSION on this shitty graph, masks dont fucking work, and the only way for them to work is if everyone has them. But then you look at face shields, and the virus could easily go around the fucking shield. So somehow the virus is immune to large, multi inch spaces now but at the same time is not? Fucking clown world.

Obviously the solution is to double-mask so you have four masks between you. I'm joking but that's what these fools are thinking now.

All for a virus no more deadlier than the flu. Have they isolated the strain yet?
