Not supporting Jay Dyer here, but the reason people run form the Dimonds is because they are realy skilled in the art of Pilpul, much like the pharisees were. I don; think there is anything to gain for anyone "debating" these "converts". These guys wear the catholic mantle only long enough to beat people over the head with it, but they are more like the early protestants than they are catholics. THey have made themslves the sole arbiters of the truth, whic incidentally is what Our Lord set up the CHurch to do.
