We should all be concerned about everything we have ever said on the internet. Think Kevin Hart, but in a Stalin (Great Purge), Madam Mao (Red Guard and the 4 Olds), or Robespierre (Reign of Terror), kind of way. Will your VPN really save you? Let us hope so. This is why I don't use platforms that require email, phone number or any other personal info. I don't talk about where I live any broader than the general area of the US (Midwest, South, east etc). I do mention my occupation but I don't mention too many specifics.

I saw the writing on the wall in 2015 and deleted my Facebook back then. Not only am I safer, but I feel much better not wasting time looking at other's lives
