Wikipedia was a nice thing back in the day, the idea of it. I mean for the first 4-5 years it was awesome. Then it began to devolve in this, "fact check" bullshit, that only certain people could fact check certain subjects. Back in 2007, my history teacher at uni who studied ww1 for about 20 years,who had his first PHD in this subject,he was not allowed to edit a wiki article on a certain subject because it wasn't "factual".
He then told them that he actually has documents from ww1 to prove that what he says is factual. The response from wiki was that those documents are fake. I mean at that point.....he just gave up,and had a discussion with the higher ups in the uni, to have a serious talk with the students as to why wiki can never be actually trusted, and should never be used as a source on whatever subject you are talking or writing about.
