Not altered unless someone made a very big investment to not make it altered. These days its possible to see if a picture has been alterted by amateurs using : http://www.fotoforensics.com/analysis.php?id=5a84d606fa72aa70ad12f64ee3e14d310b52c3f3.305770 .

So the coin contains tools to build back better?

Watch as he flips it. The dark color on the coin was likely a reflection from the ceiling.

At 13-14 seconds into the video it looks very much like the OP image. Don't think it's reflection as the color doesn't change as the angle of the coin changes 14-15 seconds. Try watching it at 25% speed.

Thanks, this is a really cool site! A while a go there was a pic of Hillary Clinton with some sort of devil glass book that was a big controversy at the time.

It looked like a fake pic to me, with the macbook resting halfway off the pile of books and the shadows underneath it all wrong.

Can you interpret the ELA analysis for this one: https://www.fotoforensics.com/analysis.php?id=bc1c86c118d7acc67e1d168ecc394e36a58df4af.627484

The whole picture looks lit up to me.

It appears to be heavily smoothed and filtered. These days a photographer shoots raw and then drastically alters it for the final version.

Can you explain this? The OP is an edited picture to begin with.

No it isn't. Look at the vid two posts above, it's clear as day. And yet all the top comments on here are trying to declaim it as fake... that is very sinister.

I am asking how you check for alterations in a screenshot from a video using the tool. Also, the OP is a collage which is edited. I too am interested in the coin and have taken my own screenshots.
