Thanks, this is a really cool site! A while a go there was a pic of Hillary Clinton with some sort of devil glass book that was a big controversy at the time.
It looked like a fake pic to me, with the macbook resting halfway off the pile of books and the shadows underneath it all wrong.

It appears to be heavily smoothed and filtered. These days a photographer shoots raw and then drastically alters it for the final version.
