Dude, we are totally cool.
Everyone lies. Even me. If I lied to someone in a way that was so obvious to them that they called me a liar, I would deserve it and have! I like you despite this post and comments.
Did you just compare running a "job site" to running Tesla or SpaceX?
I had tried several times to run my own business. Only one of them made it until I killed it with the intention of restarting it in another state. Tried and failed to get it going again. No, I have never tried to run more than one at a time. No fucking way. Hell, I have been in the drivers seat for the company I work for now and no thank you! Much harder company to run than the ones I tried.
Does that make me a shit owner? Perhaps and that is ok with me.
Well if you're calling me a liar we ain't cool.
I'm not saying 5 billion and you can run 50 Tesla companies....that's not what you and I were talking about. So I'm going to quote you...and use the full sentence...not some snippet like an asshole...
"How many people do you know of that can run more than one company at the same time? How about 3 or 4 companies? Thats a badass."
You see right there...you were just talking about running businesses, there are many other businesses than Tesla. It sounds like you are saying it's impossible to run multiple businesses, but not only does that completely go against everything else we are saying about Musk owning more than one business, I can show you multiple examples of people running several businesses.
What I'm saying is that if I have 5 billion dollars given to me...I'm not going to operate equipment that should be in a climate controlled cleanroom, out in the middle of the fucking desert.
I also worked tool and die for a precision tubing company, so I understand how much an impact of just one side of the building to the other has on a part with only .0005 tolerance. But I'm sure you're just gonna call me a liar there too.

No. Not at all. I worked in 2 machine shops over the years and loved almost every minute of it.

Perhaps there are other reasons you are unaware of.
I am not saying it is impossible. I am saying it is improbable and that explains why the vast majority of business owners only run one business at a time. Yes, there a re a few people at any given time that run more than one.
50 Billion will do nothing for cognitive ability. At best, you hire other people to run things. Still, YOU are not running them.
>Well if you're calling me a liar we ain't cool.
Well, thats on you. I am 100% cool with you.
