The Jews invented (((Christianity))). THAT'S what happened.
Heil Odin!
I'll give you that. I've been more and more interested in the religions of my ancestors in recent times. I've started learning some but I'd like to know more. Feel free to point me towards info if you got any.
Also, it would seem that Odin was not a god per se but rather a tribe chieftan that was held in extremely high regard. At least that is what I read.
I tend to believe the stories are allegorical in nature. They are a Heroic-Epic to define our peoples as separate from the lesser races. The Gods are flags we salute to show alliegence to our peoples.
If you are Gaulish-race, Mediterainian-race, etc... Remember the Gods of your ancestors.
If you are decended from the Battle Axe Culture, we have been waiting for you to return to your Germanic peoples.
Heil Odin!
Gauls were just germanics that left central europe in an earlier wave. The earliest gailic settlement found is in Austria. They then developed in slightly different directions than those that remained.

I just liked the Roman section of its history...it talks about being an honorary member of society by honoring your ancestors. The Romans also allowed for the people they conquered to continue to worship their gods as long as they also provide thanks and prayer to the Roman gods....but lo and behold the jews didnt and the christians also didnt since it was only one god to them they didnt pray to the roman gods hence why they were murdered (christians).
Some people try to claim all the old gods were anscestors that were elevated over time. I don't really see this as legit since the chief god to most Indo-europeans was the sky or sky father. It seems to have been true for some of them for sure though, like the demigods.
The romans thought Odin was mercury. They were both tricksters and wanderers and the gods of magic and had some other similarities.
