Don't be a coward. Get uncomfortable. Now is the time to walk away from it all.
If you are willing, today you can buy an acre and go live on it with jack shit like our ancestors did.
I did in April. Lived in a tent till we got enough money to put up a shack to weather the rainy season. Just now got power. Got a fat stack of food and no bills. Growing enough good now to once a week eat from the land only. Got a massive stash of seeds. Gonna build an outdoor kitchen e with rocket stoves so we can just use our bamboo for fuel.
Took us a year to find our courage. You do not have that long. Get out by spring.
How much did you start with. I have a few grand and can make a little more by spring
$5000 but land in Hawaii is way expensive.
I made a small personal loan for the balance that I will pay off this year.
Spend about $200 to get Ryobi tool set. Spend about 2k for a cabin materials. 8x8 with lean to roof. Easy to build. Cleared drveway by hand to save money. $200 for a good tent to live in while you build.
We also ate one meal a day for months so we can stockpile food without spending more money.
Get 10k. Youll need reserves. Cut off anything you dont need now. Cable, 5g cell service. Eat cheaper.
Shit we might have to cut the cable
Buy a plot and get a damn camper. Then figure it out.
