Interesting article. They do mention him but not as the inventor. They do go into how he ‘pioneered’ crop rotation even though it’s been around for centuries. Nothing else he developed is still in use today.

And to think. If Kellogg had just stuck to using almonds, then the Incans couldn't even piggyback off the invention at all. The Incan 'peanut butter' is only similar to Kellogg's invention in the sense that peanuts are mashed into a paste (all the other steps are unrelated). White people have been mashing things since forever, heck we even mashed meat into a paste.

If you have to repeatedly bring up the same examples for anything to justify how common something is, then it proves that it's actually very uncommon.
