subreddit, subverse, whatever phuks calls them, nah none of that

The collective nouns for a group of bears are a pack of bears, a maul of bears, a sleuth of bears, or a sloth of bears.

also saw a "celebration" of polar bears

perhaps "cubverse"?

None of those jump out at me tbh

edit: Thanks chags and AOU, I think my favorite pragmatic term is "sub-berg" so they can still be subs and use the /s/

It always reminds me of submarine.

Icicle (a smaller part of a sheet of ice, like a subverse to the site at large)? Subzero? Sub-bear? Subursus (ursus being Latin for bear)?

Icebergs?

hey chags

good thought, what about just bergs

or is that too jewish lol

Bergs are responsible for sinking the Titanic.

If the s is important, maybe slab.

My favorite is icycle. No s, tho.

Just call them channels.

There's no need to fag things up or copy the ones before us.

Thats my 2 cents.

This has been in the back of my head but I’m pretty sure it will be worked out by you guys before I come up with anything good. Is being polar bears was better than any idea I had.
