If someone breaks in to your home, you need one gun to defend yourself and end the life of the criminal. You need the other gun to plant on them to prove you had good cause to kill them.

This second gun should be a cheap-ish pistol, utterly clean of your prints and DNA, and loaded with bullets you’ve never actually touched and have no more of in the house. Obviously there should be no paperwork linking this gun to you. Yes there are ways to clean a gun and store it such that no trace of you exists on it. And if it’s ever claimed that your DNA is on the gun, it clearly got there in the scuffle.

I live in an absolute liberal mecca. I will not tolerate criminals desecrating my home or threatening my family. If ever this nightmare scenario should come to pass, cops will see me, the upstanding homeowner (tax payer) defending myself from a criminal with a gun. Pretty much case closed.

I’m sure others will have good advice about this and I want to hear it. This is just my humble opinion.

Oh - and don’t think an 80% gun is t linked to you unless you bought the entire kit for cash.

I was in a gun store one day many years ago and the owner pulled out a 1911, put a can on it and shot it into a backstop.

The sound of the bullet hitting the backstop and the action cycling was loud but there is no other sound.

That's why I went with that particular combination myself so spare me your amazing knowledge about 22s, moron.

A .45 isn't a .22, you dickless little worm.

I carried a 1911 and a Remington 870 as a Lead Boarding Officer on the west coast for the USCG. I own a Sig p320C .45. and a Glock 30. Ive gone to the range 350 times in the last 5 years. So no. I dont know shit about guns and I totally believe your "gun shop fairy tale".

No, a .22 isnt a .45. A .45 is significantly louder. Youre full of shit. You didnt answer me. Do you actually own a suppressor? I own 2. Im familiar with their limitations

No, it's not louder, since it is subsonic. It's no louder than a high powered air gun. You are full of shit and have no experience in the matter.

A suppressor doesnt make things subsonic, it catches gas. Ammo has to be loaded subsonic, suppressor or not, to be subsonic. That takes away the crack but does not eliminate all noise. Saying a suppressor makes it noiseless is retarded. And the shorter the barrel the louder the report. Hence pistols are far louder than riflesm. Youre absolutely full of shit. Once again, you refuse to answer my question, but continue to say i have no experience in the matter... I OWN 2 SUPPRESSORS THAT IVE USED ON BOTH PISTOLS AND RIFLES. DO YOU OWN A SINGLE SUPPRESSOR?

Subsonic just means you won’t hear the crack of it breaking the sound barrier. Standard .45 acp is about 155-60 decibels and the hybrid 46 can I have will take it down to about 130 decibels which is “hearing safe” but hardly as quiet as an air gun.
