At current melting speed it will take 5,000 years for all the ice on antarctica to melt.
Also All the ice that's already in the ocean will have no effect on sea levels.
If it melted, wouldn't it lower the sea level?

Put ice in a glass. Fill it with water. Does the level change as the ice melt?
All the ice that's on land will run off into the ocean and raise water level. Like filling a glass and then outing ice in it.
Ice takes up more volume so you might be right.
