We don’t need or want an earnest lawman to become president. He is where he best serves. Politics is a cesspool, and swimming through that pool requires a man of a different sort. You need a sophisticated yet subtle mind at the seat of power, capable of maneuvering through the chaos and still achieving important goals. This is an honest man. He’d make for a horrible politician.
