I have a copy of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution on my desk at all times. It's been a while since I reviewed the federalist papers however and I don't think I've ever read the anti-federalist papers so I'll check those out.

AF 2, I believe it was, accurately described the creation of a Deep State (referred to as "an unelected aristocracy").
