Pretty sure? Only because you are ignorant. Its a historical fact that over 80% of the public did not want to go with war with Germany. It took ten years of anti-German propaganda in the media and several false flag attacks on the US culminating with Pearl Harbor to drag the public into the war. And don't get me started on the racist sentiments in the country especially in the South and Northern cities. Don't get me wrong. Those sentiments were 100% justified. There was hardly any racist sentiment in Germany. No blacks lived there. Do some genealogy. They certainly did. My great grandmother got married when she was 15. Another great grandmother got married at 17 and had a sister who was married at 13. History is replete with examples. It wasn't everybody, but I'd say a good 5% were <17.
