I think sexual orientation could be formed early in life, and it can't really be controlled one way or the other. There might be a genetic predisposition, but I think identical twin studies prove that it's not entirely genetic. I remember thinking the Statue of David and other such statues were hot when I was little, so it was probably already set in stone early on -- I just didn't fully understand it under I reached puberty.
