I remember when I was really young, the grammar school textbooks called them the "Lost Generation."

I got a little bit older and it was changed to the "Greatest Generation."

The subversion has been in full swing for a long time. I know I'm preaching to the choir here but it's just crazy to look back on all the things that you were expected to forget about and see how you have been manipulated for your entire life by some bizarre social engineering effort.

The lost generation preceded the greatest generation, geezer.

Lost Generation was WW1, Greatest Generation was WW2.

I’m not arguing with you, but I always heard the “lost” generation as being those Too young for ww2, but too old for Vietnam.

The Lost Generation was WW1. You're thinking of the Silent Generation.

Fuck me, I don’t know. “Talkin bout muh generation”.... eh...

Sheeeiit. I wish the current generation would be silent.

It's called The Korean War.

Forgotten war. But lost generation?

Well, nothing changes over the years. In the past it was the Catholic Church, who kept an eye on the people and fooled them, today it is other powers that have taken their place, but for the rest everything has remained the same.

Not bizare: it is well understood. See Yuri Bezmenov and Anotolly Golitsyn.

You must be very old because I've never heard them refereed to by anything other than the 'Greatest Generation'.
