I think he fundamentally believed in free speech, whether he agreed with Voat I don’t know, but I don’t think he was equipped to run a site like Voat. He stuck it out a lot longer than Atko, who turned tail pretty fast, so he deserves some credit. However, it got to a point where he became sporadically involved at best. Whether he received a gag order, got taken over, I don’t know. In the last few years, there remains a lot of unanswered questions.
