A proper Neopolitan pizza takes 90 seconds, most American pies take between 7 to 12 minutes

Oh really why? Is the reason American pizza takes longer has to do with obesity right?

Lower temperature ovens.

Neopolitan goes up to 950 Fahrenheit, US pizza ovens usually drift around 500, maybe max out at 550
