I feel like people are slipping into this pathetic superstitious belief that different years are inherently "good" or "bad". Like everything might magically get better once it's not 2020 anymore.

Nope. Nothing to do with any drug company. I'm just very optimistic about our future. I believe we will pull through to a new age of prosperity and health. Nothing at all wrong with being optimistic. Much better than pushing doom and gloom everywhere everyday.

Agreed. Before 2016 the lies were too eloquent and soothing. POTUS revealed so many glimpses of cruel truth that the liars got increasing shaken. 2020 was a horror show in that many many more of us were shown that our institutions have been compromised for generations.
