Fun fact: I had a lot of fun in 2020. I got to work from home, hang out with my kids, and basically not worry about the 'corporate' lifestyle. My wife feels the same. It feels like the media is really trying to press the fact that 2020 was terrible and everybody wants it gone. Although there are/were things that I want gone from 2020, I also feel it was an eye opener for me in more ways than one.

Nope. Nothing to do with any drug company. I'm just very optimistic about our future. I believe we will pull through to a new age of prosperity and health. Nothing at all wrong with being optimistic. Much better than pushing doom and gloom everywhere everyday.

Agreed. Before 2016 the lies were too eloquent and soothing. POTUS revealed so many glimpses of cruel truth that the liars got increasing shaken. 2020 was a horror show in that many many more of us were shown that our institutions have been compromised for generations.

Eh, I basically agree with you, but I think most ppl see different years as milestones. It's basically just a convenient way to break up time. Like, they don't think things will magically change, but comparing one year to another can give you an idea of whether things are getting better or worse. With that said, I think some ppl do get superstitious, but I think they are vocal minority.
