I don't expect you guys to be a lawyer, or take my word for it. However, I did the dig long ago, the law is already worked out so 'they' can legally do whatever-the-fuck-they-want. The breaking point as I understood it was the emergency powers act. This was enacted a long time ago and never truly deactivated, making mandates, etc enforceable. I would bet most of your local police know about this by now.
