Current death count for COVID is 297,000. (en.wikipedia.org) Assuming these are all this year, that is 12.3% of total deaths. Since nearly all death related to cardio pulmonary failure is listed as COVID, we should subtract the P&I percentage from this reported COVID number. This leave 105,000 most primarily relatable COVID deaths. 105K is 4.4% of total deaths. COVID is a little over half as deadly as the flu. The COVID percentage is most likely even lower as overdoses and suicides have spiked due to lockdowns and are being reported as COVID. (webmd.com)
