Exactly, I felt for Putt sometimes, the guy could get frantic trying to come up with a solution to the latest voat problem.
Maybe? Idk what you mean by preview site, tbh. I officially joined Voat in early 2016 (before the whole backend changed). Definitely after it changed from whoaverse, but even back then atko was always engaged with the community more than putt.

It's where all the community testing took place before the backend of voat got overhauled to reduce hosting costs. It's where you could chat with Putt and get an idea of what was coming when there was still open communication.We also used it as a backup whenever Voat went down.
