A boomer finishes highschool. Walks into their local factory or business and tells them they need a job. The owner says that they need workers and will pay a wage that can support a family, buy a house, and live well; all while working in good working conditions. They also say they will provide training.
A millennial finishes college. Walks into their local factory or business and tells them they need a job. The owner says that they will pay the bare minimum they legally have to, provide the worst working conditions they legally can.
The millennial asks for better, and the owner says that if they don't take the job, there's a hundred desperate people right behind them who will take the job and be happy about it.
