I don't think that's faggotry. That's a normal response given those two things. IAWL may be schmaltz but w a real life suicide for input, that's entirely normal. You'd be very abnormal or have a shitty relationship w you mom if you hadn't. That's part of how art works.

I happened across a documentary about Capra the other night. It was on PBS, so you guys can hate it if you want. But it was interesting.

I used the word schmaltz because it was the only fitting one I could think of. But Capra had his heart in the right place. IAWL was really meant to show how one man can have an impact(most of Capra was). Even if we might not always realize. A single comment on Voat or Poal might help our brothers. And you shouldn't discount or minimize your own impact on others. Sometimes you wont even know. Unless Clarence shows up and we cant count on that.

Your mom obviously had a giant impact on your world. How could she not? But you, and I have the same impacts even right here. Who is reading this right now? Maybe someone who is in despair and wants to end it.

So, schmaltz and tears be damned. It may change someones life.
