Yeah, the idea is consuming the bacteria of a healthy person will cause your own bacteria to be healthy. There's so many flaws in that logic that it makes me tired just thinking about it.

If your bacteria are gone, you have lethal problems. Your gut relies heavily on bacteria to digest your food. Without it, you're mega fucked. With zero bacteria, you have hospital-level problems, not pill-level problems.

Literally the idea here is to "seed" your gut with "healthy" bacteria. The reason it doesn't work is because your own bacteria is unhealthy for a reason - be it genetics, environment, diet, stress, whatever. Any new bacteria introduced to your gut will simply succumb to the same problems your own bacteria has. And that's if it's not burnt up by your stomach acid which, let's face it, is really what happens.

It's an extremely retarded "new-age" fix for a complicated problem. Back in my day, people thought avoiding gluten would solve it. Today they just eat shit.
