The mods at 8/pol/ had gotten awful, almost as bad as 4chan a couple years back. The site mods then made /pol/ a globally moderated board, which meant everything became a shitshow where shills flooded the board and no one could cull clear shitposting. I knew of Voat from /r/CoonTown, so I made an account there, as it sounded like that was an approved bunker. I wasn't even there a year when Putt stopped showing up and many general boards were moderated by trolls, suppressing my posts and comments like mad. I heard about Poal at least having active mods and decided to check this place out. It's a lot more chill here and I definitely regret being overly defensive during, what I had assumed was, my hazing phase. I haven't called anyone a niggerfaggot in 5 months and I'm fine with that.
