I don't think putt is dumb. Stubborn most likely. I have known people like him. Coders who are great at coding and kind of oblivious to reality. I think that's how he is. Ignores Voat (outside of coding) until some fire, then puts out fire, then back to coding. No plan. Not even a plan for a plan. Just coding to finish his big project. It eats at him night and day. He must finish. All else is secondary. Offers for help do not help him finish his project. Problem is, no one is asking for his project, wants his project, or needs his project. What they ask for is how to help. What they want and need is a stable free speech platform and his project does nothing to solve that. So many (like me) have just said fuck it and left or logged out and switched to lurk mode. Why bother? Site could disappear any day. All it takes is one car accident or major life change and he is gone forever along with Voat.
