I actually left reddit because of the FPH ban, among other things.
But after awhile on Voat, I kind of realized that because I already know that I dislike fat people, I don't need to spend any extra time looking at them.
Like, I always enjoyed the text posts and screenshots of people arguing against HAES bullshit, but I really don't need to be looking at all these pictures of fat-asses all the fucking time. So I blocked the sub and was subsequently happier for it.
Right there with you. The text posts and rage posts from fats are the best.
The pictures, not so much.
Yeah FPH was one of the ones that made me start looking for alternatives. It was one of the beginnings of the end. Now reddit is only fun with a couple beers and a desire to destabilize threads and even communities- light touches and all. At some point I would like to use their own playbooks against them, such as: https://www.reddit.com/r/TheoryOfReddit/comments/3r15h0/how_to_change_the_culture_of_a_subreddit_looking/
Really the best fat sub was one that only occasional harbored truly good nuggets of fat, was the fat people stories. Many sucked but every now and then someone would write a detailed report on interactions with truly exceptional individuals. That was infinitly more interesting than FPH in general.
