All day I have had terrible connection issues. Poal, Jewtube, and a few other sites load just fine but most, pic8, voat, invidio, et al, just sit there and spin for minutes and never connect. I'd call tech support but that's the same story there.

I'm sure it's because they made the low tier schmuks work the holidays and the people who could correct it are at home getting drunk and full. I guess that's nice for them and family time is important, but some of us need their internet. I don't have my time until tomorrow and I'm bored.

I'm just curious why Poal works just fine but most else doesn't. Even if it's something else down the line, I'm paying them for service and they need to make it work. I'll tell you wut, I'm going to write some very sternly worded letters, yes sir. I won't stand for this! I'll...I'm gonna...well something that's for sure.

Don't know I Know where poal's main server is and I know where pic8s is so neither should have any issues if the other works no they are not even in the same country but it should be the same main fiber line bringing you both only guess I could come up with is DNS issues.

Just got the kids down you know Santa only comes after the kids are asleep.

That’s where your problem is.

Try to manually replace your ISP’s DNS (primary) with 1.1.1.1

If that doesn’t fix it, the backbone your ISP is using might have some routing issues (happens with botnet attacks) and there’s nothing you can do but wait.

I heard Cox is huge. Not just a long reach, but a wide user base as well. I can imagine being upset when getting fucked by Cox when they are both long and wide. I would definitely be butthurt if that happened.

Same thing. My ISP is Suddenlink and they've been giving me shit for years. First it was the network going out every month, then now it is denying me access to Gfycat, Poal, Voat, Invidious, Hooktube, anything related to YT video to MP4/MP3 conversion, Gab, and Bitchute.

If I'd accessed Voat, they will shut my network off for the day. I'll go to the library on my university campus and everything is fine, but if I go home everything is fucked.

Yeah, that is a usual response when you post contentious comments intended to cause controversy. While there are many points of view worth consideration, there does exist a whole realm of subjects that are bereft of the current socio-political and personality-cult drama. Enjoy nature, take a walk in the woods, go fishing or hunting, play music, drive cars, just enjoy life because it's way too short to waste that energy on. Being angry and hateful all the time seems like a huge waste of time.
