It doesn't make much sense to me

Why would you get involved in mass murder over a fucking patent when you have all the money in the world to buy it. And a micro chip patent on top of that. The kind of stuffs that becomes obsolete quite fast these days

And the guy was probably willing to sell it, I doubt he was one of those "nooooo, for the sake of mankind I won't sell my miracle chippppppppppppp"

In the movies they often paint hackers and tech guys as idealists willing to die to fight for freedom and shit

The reality I've seen is quite the opposite

The vast majority are soulless creatures willing to sell their soul in exchange for a job at google or any random big name in the industry. Just to show off in the end. A bunch of stupid virgins basically, with zero moral compass and ethics. And I'm not even sure I can call it a zero. Moral, ethics, are concepts they don't seem to understand to begin with. Like ducks facing a wrench.

So I don't see why the guy would refuse to sell his shit. He suffered what? 5? 7? Years of training just to get started in the industry in the hope than one day he would be rich?

And for some obscure reason he isn't in for the money anymore... Hm.

It's not like he started as humanitarian or something

When you have so much money it doesn't matter, It's not about the money.

It's about sending a message.

Yeah ok

That's one big ass vague claim, as big as vague

..

Now let's talk about facts, in that particular instance

What are they? To support what you're implying, ie, "rotschild sending a message"

Who's is getting a message here? About what?

I ask ecause if this is yet another case of "this is that because I say so", it's worthless. I mean it weights as much as me saying god is a frozen pizza at the center of the galaxy

Maybe it's true who knows
