Mother's side: my granny was a 'halfbreed' indian (tribe unknown). Her father was East European (country unknown). Her husband was Dutch and German. Father's side. He was Italian. I don't know anything about his parents. Genealogy is boring to me, so I never will.

Genealogy is not for everyone. If you would of asked me 10 years ago I might not of really cared that much myself.

It took me some time to come around myself and kind of enjoy learning about my own past / own history and such.

Everyone has their hobby and interests. Genealogy is no worse or better than stamp collecting, memorizing sports statistics, or whatever. To each their own. I used to collect videotapes and DVDs. Last year or so I find I seldom watch them. More of my time is spent exploring the internet and darknet. Things change.
