I can go a lot further with this

Please do; there's a lot of esotericism in their lyrics, and I always had the lurking suspicion that it was a situation not unlike the Alchemists of old: hiding their knowledge in plain sight, so as to avoid the wrath of those who'd rather it not be. There's a few metal bands, like this. And while some are clearly gimmicky— some of them have real insight in to very esoteric topics. I wonder if they choose "metal" as their genre of choice because of its unwelcoming, niche nature; soil where golden nuggets are easier to hide. Soil which is frequented by groups of people which may already be primed to find them, due to them being attracted to the genre to begin with. Would love to hear your take on it.

Their symbol is an upside down Crowely seven pointed star, meaning they understand the magic and are inverting for good because they are a "tool" for the message of truth... especially the dark truth.

Their most recent album, "Fear Inoculum" is exactly what it says... a series of spells designed to make people immune to fear and it is directed directly at the fear mongerers on both sides of the aisle... referring to these people as psychopaths and having delusions from mania. "don't point your psychopathy at me."

Maynard took flack from the MSM because he wouldn't denounce Trump explicitly enough, merely stating that "ignorance is the enemy" and "I don't like ANY politicians."

So, while they embrace the magic... they see it as a Tool and have always been against the grain in the metal/grunge/alternate world. "Fuck your tatttoos" "Fuck all you junkies and fuck your short memories." Like a gun, "magic" is a tool. It can be used for good or bad. And by magic, I mainly mean organizational and Jungian psychology, in this particular case.

"Magic" is certainly a lot more practical than most people allow themselves to believe. It's concepts are simply given new names and repackaged with a materialistic slant; so that the college crowds will understand/use them only in very controlled, half-knowing ways. So many people I see get disappointed when they finally learn why some things are the way they are. All, "oh, I expected something 'different'." No! You learned the thing! How do you not see what huge advantage knowing this gives you?! So many people, walking around hypnotized under someone else's spell and never being aware of it, their whole lives. I'm sure there's quite a few that I've yet to shake off.

Thanks for the point of view.

Web is continually impressive.

Reread what he said another time. It's important for you to see those words and think those thoughts.

Few can do what he just demonstrated. No (Do) not look the other way; remember.

Respond to this. (oh I should add my request is so that I respond later when I have time to organize things for you)

I really don't want to cross my "insights" across multiple platforms, but I'm willing to make an exception if people here are not only capable of impressing me, but are also willing to do so.
