Why hasn't a cure been found yet? I don't even know how I contracted it or from whom. Considering how many people have herpes, you'd think the pharmaceutical industry would have found a cure by now. If I lived near a research and development center for a cure, I'd volunteer as a test subject even if it had a risk of death.

My parents get them as well. My mom thinks she got them from my dad. I'm not sure if I got them as a kid or as an adult. Sometimes it seems like I go years between getting them and sometimes it's multiple times a year. I wish pharmaceutical companies were owned an operated by people looking for cures instead of profits.

EDIT: If it works that well for her, I'd appreciate you telling me what it's called; I try something different each time, so far works best for me.
