This completely ignores the dilution of the labor pool with immigration, and the inflation of the currency. Minimum wage used to be perfectly fine. Part time employment used to be viable. So yes minimum wage without government subsidies should be the measure of fairness.

It does. But it also ignores the quality of life that can be got for a smaller wage. I just don't like the idea of idiots thinking they should make 35k for just kinda hanging out.
