This is complete nonsense, just some faggot anthropomorphizing wolves. The weaker older wolves in front makes no sense in this case because theyd have to break trail through the snow. Also theyd be the first to see prey, and theyre the more useless ones. And yes wolves do hunt by sight as well as scent, ive watched it happen. Also, my neighborhood wolf pack has an old 3 legged bitch and she always lags behind the rest. She absolutely doesnt go in front and set the pace.
