It's the same BS in the NFL in America. Every time a black QB comes around, the media pretty much has a funeral for all the outdated white QB's, but when the black QB is a dog-killer or just another mediocre QB, the media goes into damage control mode.
Edit: is can add the media does the same thing with black MLB players. Currently Mookie Betts is being hyped (by LA media at least) as the one of the greatest players ever, but he's proving to be entirely mediocre, his MVP-level years seemingly behind him.
