You've got to be a moron to pick a fight with the police on the streets of Brazil. I remember watching a documentary about Brazil and there was a shoot out between some cops and robbers and the police just dragged one of the robbers behind a van and shot him in the head to save on the paperwork. I'm not saying it's right but just to illustrate how surely everyone knows you don't take any chances with police in a place like that.
