I miss it. It never gets that cold here. Although, I took the trash out today and was shocked at how cool it was at 74.
Does everyone run for sweaters and pants when it hits 60?
Your blood actually thins out after about a year here. I lived in Vermont for a few years and was doing shorts when it was anything above freezing because after a year there you adapt to the cold. It's really funny.
My first 'winter' here, I went to the grocery store perfectly comfortable because it was 60 out and of been living in Reno and northern Georgia before moving out here. I sent my mom a pic of a lady in a knit hat and scarf at the store.
Still the most I wear is a sweatshirt. It's nice to feel cold when it happens.
I don't care for high humidity but I'm sick of winters. It would be so nice to have summer here for 8 months (Dry heat) and winter in a nice tropical paradise. I'm going to Thailand next year, beautiful and cheap.
Yes. It is nice to be able to work outside all day without over heating or slowing down.
Cold weather is White weather.
A climate where it was between 70 - 80 all year would be awesome. I can't imagine what it's like living in the southern states. 🥵 High humidity sucks.
I went for a walk this morning to do my blood work at the clinic, it was barely +1 degree Celsius. The grass was covered with a thin layer of melted snow, as were the hoods and windshields of the cars. The fresh cold air of the Russian autumn morning nibbled at my nose, and I was only wearing my hoodie - I didn't want to bother with my jacket once I got there. Wearing a hat was a good decision, though. It's going to snow full force soon I feel.
Full size carry season!
Haha. Bundle up!
Fugg yeah. Let it snow
I agree, unless I'm on the boat or at a beach I have no interest in summer heat.
