Consider this: The earth orbits the sun once every 365 days. All the while our local climate changes throughout the seasons. The sun orbits the galaxy once every ~230 million years (galactic year). Our Galaxy is constantly expanding and, (possibly), orbiting something even larger than we can conceive. Point is... The Earth is in a location in space that it has "never" been in before. It is constantly and always will be in a new area of space forever. To think the energy distribution throughout space is equal seems naive. So does thinking that our local/global climate will remain the same forever without "change".
