The Poal.co warrant canary

As of Wednesday, November 2nd, 2022, Poal.co has never received:

National Security Letters, of any type, for any purpose.

Personal requests from any law enforcement agency worldwide or corporate entity for backdoors in any software and/or hardware projects to which we currently are or have been active contributors, nor are we aware of other contributors to these projects having received such a request.

Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court orders of any type.

Subpoenas and/or search warrants accompanied by a gag order pursuant to the Electronic Communications Privacy Act.

The Poal.co Free Speech Canary.

Poal.co declares itself to be a Neutral Public Forum and claims protection under Section 230 immunity.

Poal.co declares it is open to the general public for use.

Poal.co commits to not removing content unless it is illegal or any form of child sexualization.

Poal.co commits to not banning users unless they post illegal content or if they compromise the site functionality (ToS violations).

Poal.co delegates moderation of speech on the site to the users themselves via the Owners and Moderators of individual subs (aka user subs)

The Owners and Moderators of individual subs may restrict speech but only at the risk of that individual sub losing Neutral Public Forum status and the Owners and Moderators of that individual sub losing Section 230 immunity. Poal.co itself maintains Neutral Public Forum status and maintains Section 230 immunity because anyone can create a new sub and talk about anything they want.

If a sub owner is determined to be an abusive mod, that sub maybe transferred to another user (abusive mod is defined by actively censoring relevant discussions or information).

Poal has not received any money from any governments foreign or domestic.

I've never really understood this concept. It's well known law enforcement lies to anyone constantly w/ impunity. The people that demand this are retarded. of who is this 'of a use' to? Our iuntelligence agencies lied and spied on a presidential candidate.... But seriously do any of you fags think you're gonna print out this page like a form of protection? You are stupid as fuck. It's 'evidence' by negation, which is legal. Versus evidence of the positive ( the thing happening) which is illegal in cases of sealed warrants etc. But you're a jew so I get why you try to call this legal protection into question.

I don't think you understood what this is saying. Or what it means.

It does not offer any type of protection and nor should you infer that.

This is more of an announcement, it is saying that Poal hasn't gotten any Law enforcement requests from any jurisdictions. This is posted occasionally and the last time it was posted a comment said that when warrants are served they often have a non disclosure demand. So for example: The FBLie serves Poal with a warrant for user KaliYuga's information and all his communications. Poal would be obligated to provide that information but they may be gag ordered to not divulge this information to you or others. The comment suggested that this may be a round about way of complying with the gag order but also letting folks know that something is amiss.
