Why is this surprising? We have seen this with drone “fireworks” displays, and other numerous coordinated drone dancing.

So why would one think this can’t happen.

Also drones are cheap, and if you have a swarm you can simply fly them into the path of a plane that would eat them in the engines. Prop or turbofan, this is gonna be an issue, and if there are enough the flying thing is not gonna fly long.

If I was to guess how many niggers you have to throw into a jet engine….sorry mind wandered. If I was to guess how many drones you’d have to throw into any turbofan to fuck it up where it won’t work (usually the damage makes it eat itself at 10,000-20,000 rpm’s, I’d just wager 3-4 is enough junk to fuck that engine.

These don’t need to be armed or mil spec drones…they simply need to be mechanical bird strike type shit.

So 200 drones at $300 each? 60k investment. But again you don’t lose 60k in attack. You loose the drones that strike the aircraft.

War gaming this is scary. The drones can have coordinated actions, likely based on some ground laser tracking ai, then just go up in the path. Hard to see before it’s too late. No way to defend. You can’t machine gun and take out enough to make this go away. Missile not designed to blow up mid air with no strike?

This sounds like nightmare fuel for a pilot.

I bet one would do the job. You design it to target air inlets and shred turbofans. Think ceramic shards and metal rods, etc.

This sounds like we could get a knock for gaming it, but they have to be thinking of this. And yeah just break up some spark plugs and epoxy them to the body. That’s good enough. And a dji drone without a controller what’s the real cost to dji? Maybe $100 if they sell for 3-400? So it’s a cost effective nightmare fuel.

Shit that’s nightmare fuel for just us walking around.

Egg-sac-tly. That was the first thought many people had after seeing those drone light shows. This was sure to be weaponized and it might even have been before it landed in civilian hands. May God have mercy on those pilots.

I don’t have as much compassion for the pilots as I used to. They signed up to “puurtekt murica” for this jew war.

Not to mention why are pilots in planes still???
