We grew up with a lot of dodgy technology so we are way more skeptical of the long term use and effect of such things. The Millennials are the ones who think this shit is cool and have too much trust in it. GenX knows better and we also don't want to always have a device on us when we are doing private things. We still hold privacy as an important value.
