And saying suicide is selfish is stupid also. Its way more selfish to demand someone live when they dont want to just for the sake of your feelings. Its their life to do with as they please, if they don't want to live anymore that's a choice that should be accepted. Unless we are gonna admit people are property, then no one has higher dominion over their lives then themselves

It is selfish in the sense that people who cared about you are devastated but yeah it should be viewed like we do with people who are ill passing.

I always wanted that saying to refer to the loved ones who didn't make a suicide pact with the suicider.

Suicider? Sounds like a great drink name.

Suicides who take others with them are generally sacks of shit. I'd like a few suiciders. Dude. Cider. Suicider? Taste so good you will kill yourself when you run out.

I'm basically saying that I think the victims are the ones who are left to deal with the lose of that one who killed themself.

If someone wants to die, so be it. But if anyone loved them they are the victims.

I just dont see it. I see that it causes grief but victim implies a suicide wronged those around them. Hurt emotionally sure. Can you elaborate on why you say loved ones are a victim?

Suicide is fucked up no matter how you slice it. I would venture that most if not all those who choose suicide are victims in some way. But the term is kind of dumb. I think mostly to make it easier for loved ones to explain and not be embarrassed about it?
