Heard Gov Younkin memtion getting rid of the antiquated "car tax" on local news. Im assuming he means the personal property tax thing. Ive only lived here 5 years. I hate paying tax on vehicles I bought (and paid tax on) in different states. All get high mileage discount, but still sucks. If the car tax goes away, how much will property tax increase to cover the difference? Maybe gas tax or food tax increases too...Are we better off keeping the car tax for lower property taxes?
