I'm not saying the spiral came from the Pythagoreans. I'm saying a lot of occult symbolism was derived from them, especially the Freemason symbolism.

It was a Pythagorean who used the obelisk that stands in front of the Vatican, today, to measure the circumference of the earth with a high degree of accuracy. His name was Eratosthenes. The obelisk was important to the Pythagoreans and it is still so important it stands today... in the middle of the Pedo Capital of the world.
